Pastor Archie
Archie L. Harris, senior pastor and founder of New Life Christian Center, has a vibrant passion for the redemption of lost souls.
With over 20 years of leadership and ministry experience, Pastor Harris has made it his life’s commitment to relay the Word of God to believers and unbelievers in a relevant way. Pastor Harris’ ministry to people demonstrates that he has the necessary competency, anointing, and compassion to operate in the office of pastor.
Pastor Harris, a native of Norfolk, VA, accepted Jesus as his personal Savior in 1983. He served in the United States Army for three years, during which time he was stationed at Fort George G. Meade in Maryland. Pastor Harris was ordained by the Church of God in Christ (C.O.G.I.C) in 1991. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor Kenneth L. Fowlkes, he served as the Assistant Pastor of Kingdom Builders C.O.G.I.C. After a faithful seven-year tenure at Kingdom Builders, Pastor Harris and his wife proceeded to establish New Life Christian Center in Laurel, Maryland in 1996. Several years into the formation of the church, Pastor Harris left his career as a network computer specialist with Computer Sciences Corporation in May 2001 to serve full-time at New Life.
In 2014 Pastor Harris, under the leadership of Bishop B. Courtney McBath, was installed as Overseer within the Calvary Alliance of Churches and Ministries.
Pastor Harris has had the privilege to minister internationally in Japan and England. His anointed preaching and teaching has impacted the lives of thousands over the years. Pastor Harris has been married to his wife, Audrey, for more than 28 years and they have six children.
Pastor Audrey
Audrey W. Harris, Co-Pastor of New Life Christian Center (NLCC), houses an authentic anointing to teach the Gospel in a way that reaches people where they are.
Since receiving Jesus Christ as her Savior at the age of 14, Co-Pastor Harris remains committed to living out the “Great Commission,” which commands us to go into the entire world. With this in mind, she and her husband have traveled to both Japan and England to preach and teach the gospel. She is also passionate about being on the front lines in the battle to win souls for Christ in the communities New Life serves. Co-Pastor Audrey Harris has integrated her calling to be prophetess, evangelist, teacher and counselor with her passion for true outreach.
Within the four walls of NLCC, Co-Pastor Harris leads the Women’s Ministry, teaches the Ministry Training Program, and is instrumental in the development of NLCC’s Youth and Young Adult Department.
Co-Pastor Harris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Norfolk State University. She is a retiree of the State of Maryland where she worked as a social worker for Anne Arundel County. Co-Pastor Harris has been married to her husband, Archie, for more than 28 years, and they have six children.
